I was born in the USSR right before its collapse and was raised in Ukraine. My passion for art began before I could remember, right as I learned how to use a pencil as a toddler. Using whatever surface and tools were available, I doodled anything that captured my interest with pens and pencils.

At age 6, my mom and I immigrated to the United States. We lived in a small studio apartment in Brooklyn, NY. She had to work many hours to ensure we had a home and food to eat. Since she was also highly creative in her own right, my mom always supported my passion for art.

I practiced drawing portraits, landscapes, and still lifes starting at age 7 and continued to practice regularly. All throughout school, I was known as an "art kid." Years later, at age 18, my grandfather bought me my first oil paints, and I fell in love immediately. Soon after, I began posting my work online, gaining increasing traction over time and, eventually, making it possible for me to work as a full-time artist.

I've supported myself as an oil painter for the past decade through multiple revenue streams, like selling prints and originals, commissions, my Youtube partnership, and painting lessons on a paid subscription platform. I've created commissioned promotional pieces for companies like HBO for Game of Thrones, Riot Games, Strathmore, and I have the pleasure of representing Gamblin, the #1 producer of artist oils and art restoration materials in the US.

Presently, I live and work in Washington state, where I find endless inspiration in the beautiful mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
